Strawberries, like other fruits, are essential foods in our diet. They provide little energy, are rich in fiber, vitamins and minerals, and have phytonutrients that protect us against diseases.
The consumption of at least 5 servings of fruit a day, contributes to children having a balanced and adequate diet.
Strawberries have more vitamin C than orange! In addition, it contains folic acid, the consumption of which is essential during pregnancy. Among all the minerals that strawberries have, iron, calcium, iodine and phosphorus stand out. In addition, they are a good source of fiber so it facilitates intestinal transit, avoiding constipation in children. Apart from eating the fruit, children can also try preparing and enjoying a very easy recipe. It is a very rich and healthy strawberry mousse. I pass the recipe to you:
